  24. Don't you mean Ameritech?  I thought AT&T is prohibited from providing local 
  25. telephone line service until the new telecom bill kills all the barriers, 
  26. except for some current trials.  Ameritech was spun off from AT&T a decade 
  27. ago (all the Baby Bells were).
